Microelectronic Science and Engineering is Recognized as the National First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Point in 2020

In February 2021, the General Office of the Ministry of Education released the list of national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors in 2020. Through online application, examination by the competent authorities of universities, evaluation and voting recommendation by the Teaching Advisory Board under the Ministry of education, our undergraduate majors Microelectronic Science and Engineering and Biomedical Engineering were recognized as the national and provincial first-class undergraduate major construction points respectively.

Up to now, our college is home to three national first-class undergraduate major construction points, including Electronic Science and Technology, Electronic Information Science and Technology and Microelectronic Science and Engineering, as well as one provincial first-class undergraduate major construction point, namely Biomedical Engineering. The total number of national first-class undergraduate major construction points ranks the top in Jilin University.
